Description of the accommodation

Our house, Casa Felisa, is a chateau in the countryside settled in Santa Eulalia de Gállego, in Aragon Region, near the Pyrenees. It was an old olive oil mill that has been restored with care by its owners. You can find the family tradition, linked to their old work as carpenters, all over the house. We can comfortably accommodate up to 12 persons in double rooms. All with ensuite bathroom. If needed, we can also provide additional beds in order to accommodate more people. The common areas are two living rooms with fireplace and the dining room, the terrace and barbeque. You can also use a fully equipped kitchen. The area is best know for extreme sports like rafting, kayaking, hydrospeeding, canorafting, when an all be enjoyed on Gallego river. You can also practice BBT or walking or you can try to scale the “Mallos de Riglos”For nature enthusiasts, the “Hoya de Huesca” district offers you an idyllic setting for birdwatching or simply enjoys the seenery or the fresh mountain air of the Aragones Pyrenees.Cultural offer is wide and complete. You can find The Castle of Loarre, the best conserved Roman castle in Europe. The castle was made more famous by the movie “Kingdom of Heaven” starring Orlando Bloom. You can also visit the “Colegiata de Bolea”, the Monastery of “San Juan de la Peña”, the old Aragon Kings’ pantheon. The nearest town of Huesca also offers you the Monastery of “San Pedro el Viejo”, a cathedral and several museums. In Jaca you can find the fortress and a Roman cathedral.Gastronomy in the district also is very known for its great range of flavours and sweets. We especially recommend the bread and pastries from Ayerbe, “tortas” and “refollaus” In autumn you can find many kinds of mushrooms in the forest and all the restaurants have special menus. How to get here? From Madrid and Valencia, you have to arrive first to Zaragoza, then row to get the A-23 to Huesca. From Barcelona, Reus or Girona, you will also need to reach Huesca. From Huesca, take the A-132 towards Pamplona until you reach Ayerbe. After passing towards Ayerbe, take the first left which lead directly to Santa Eulalia. From Bilbao, San Sebastian and Pamplona, take the N-232 to Jaca and after crossing “Puente la Reina” Bridge, turn to the right and take the A-132 towards Huesca Until you reach Ayerbe. Just before entering the town of Ayerbe you will need to take a share right turn, which will lead you directly to Santa Eulalia. Follow the road until you will find the village and the house.
