Description of the accommodation
The Black Bull in Moffat is reputed to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest hostelry in Scotland. Built in 1568 it is certainly steeped in history. It was a favourite watering hole for the bard Robert Burns who once engraved a pane of glass with some locally-inspired verses. Today following a refurbishment the Black Bull is now a luxurious 15 bedroom boutique hotel.
