Covid-19 Update As per government guidance we have opened up our garden area, tables are available to reserve and we will provide table service. Please contact us to make a booking. We are preparing to open inside the bar and restaurant from 3rd august, we will provide an update when we receiv ed further guidance from the welsh government. Hotel rooms are now available to book, but as room only (kitchen & restaurant currently closed). We have put measures in place to keep our customers and staff safe and to keep Brewers Lodge covid secure, these include extensive cleaning to all high contact surface areas, table service, PPE for staff, social distancing and sanitising stations throughout the area. Originally a 16th century farmhouse, this friendly country inn is set in its own grounds, overlooking the small town of Blackwood, near Newport, with the Brecon Beacons within easy reach. Brewers Lodge was once owned by the family of the infamous Captain Henry Morgan. Today, this quaint building is brimming with country charm and its own wonderful unique character, giving you a warm sense of welcome from the moment you arrive. Just a short distance from some of the region's most beautiful woodland, the lodge is nevertheless within easy reach of the cities of Newport, Cardiff and Bristol. There are 15 modern en suite rooms, each with tea/coffee making facilities and satellite TV. Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout. Family run, Brewers Lodge is renowned throughout the local area for its high-quality food, first-class service and relaxed atmosphere.
