The School Room is the starting point of your warm welcome to Dava School House by Andy and Sharon. Enjoy a complimentary freshly ground coffees tea or hot chocolate from our partner business, Cairngorm Leaf & Bean and home-made biscuits. The guest lounge with its views across Dava Moor, warm and welcoming wood burner is the ideal spot to unwind and relax after a day in the Highlands or along the Moray coast. Breakfast is served in this historic room using locally produced fare direct from the Scottish larder; enjoy warm home-made bread with your traditional Scottish Breakfast School Dinners available by prior arrangement; home cooked evening meals will include traditional Scottish soups, main courses and desserts as well as an opportunity to indulge in some South African delicacies. The Red Squirrel Suite offers a private lounge with delightful views of Dava Moor and the local bird life. A spacious double bedroom tastefully, but simply, decorated with locally sourced furnishings and artwork hosts a super-king zip and link bed for a guaranteed peaceful night’s sleep. The en-suite has a large spacious shower with dual shower heads for your convenience and, on a bright summers day, a view of the Cairngorms. This room can also be offered as a twin.
