Five minutes from the A303 on the fringe of the Blackdown Hills the Haymaker Inn ,a tranquil haven, is a traditional country inn set in the foot hills of the Isle Valley. Ideally located between the two Somerset towns of Illminster (5 minutes) and Chard (5 minutes). The Dorset Jurassic coast and its superb sandy beaches can be reached in 20 minutes and a visit to its main town Lyme Regis is a must. Its historic Cobb and harbour are iconic features, set against blue cliffs yielding fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. Exeter the county town of Devon is within easy reach. The Haymaker is a popular venue for hikers who frequently return to explore our many rural walks and cycle enthusiast looking for a great ride in the rolling hills. The Haymaker is also a great retreat from the hustle and bussel of London. All food is prepared fresh by our own chef daily.
