Description of the accommodation
The Old Drum is exactly what a traditional inn should be. Warm and welcoming, with a history of over 300 years of hospitality. Established back in 1714, when Chapel Street was an important highway, The Old Drum has seen many changes. In the early 20th century it was a popular spot for cyclists. H. G. Wells is also reported to have regularly dined (and written) here.
