Malvasia

At the end of the cobblestone high street that runs through the castle of Monemvasia, and about 300 metres from the castle's only gate is the Malvasia Traditional Hotel. Built in a quiet, enchanting and historic location, it gazes towards the open horizon and the boundless sea. The view from most rooms is magical. The hotel, one of the castle's first lodgings, has 14 rooms and apartments, all of which reflect the special atmosphere of the dwelling, rather than the impersonal feel of a hotel. It also offers a living room, breakfast room, and a very popular bar with a spectacular sea view which is open during the summer months.
