Guest House Iori

Opened in August 2014, Guesthouse iori offers simple hostel accommodation in a renovated 80-year-old house. It is located in a historic Yoshiki-no-Sato area, a 30 minute by bus from Hida Takayama station and 5 minutes by bus from Hida Furukawa. It is also 20 minutes walk from Hida Kokufu station. Guesthouse iori offers Japanese-style dormitory & private rooms with a beautiful Zen garden, which is very rare for guesthouse. Next to iori, there is a community place in the main building where you can experience cooking foods over a traditional Japanese fireplace. Though we don' provide foods, there are two restaurants in Yoshiki-no-Sato where you can enjoy Italian and Japanese foods. We hope our guests will enjoy our service and atmosphere combined with countryside view, Zen garden, and traditional craftsmanship.
