“ 'Our stay was too short', sigh most guests of Hotel Groot Welsden. Understandable after having seen the fine three star hotel in the middle of the beautiful undulating landscape of Limburg. Its situation nearby Maastricht, Thermae 2000, Belgium and Germany make this place very suitable for tours, but the hotel itself has also much to offer. The beautiful garden during the evening fairy-like illuminated, where one can enjoy the view and repose on comfortable reclining-chairs set around a fountain. The interior is very beautiful, in English style. The lounge rather looks like a cosy living-room than an impersonal hotel room. There are no standard rooms but every room has its own furnishing and style, some even have a whirlpool bath and small terrace! The guest book that is signed many times by very satisfied guests, speaks volumes: in this are mainly praised the very friendly service. An ideal place therefore for the tourist that is looking for that personal touch!
