Holmen Gård

A countryside hotel: Set amongst forest-clad hills in Southern Norway, come and visit our historic countryside hotel, Holmen Gård. We offer different kinds of accomodation, from rooms in the old timber house, to modern ensuite rooms, each dressed in various kinds of local wood. All food is homemade, and we promise delicious, freshly made meals. Go for walks and discover beautiful forests and amazing views. Why not go for a dip in the waterfall, the Sandåkerhølen? In winter you can go cross-country skiing. On request we can organise beaver safaries, fishing and kayaking. Nearby is a zoo with reptiles.
