Base Camp Anchorage Hostel

We are a community driven hostel run by outdoor enthusiasts. Our focus is creating a welcoming atmosphere and we enjoy saving you time and money by sharing advice on hikes and things to do for travelers on a budget. For outdoor travelers, we rent gear and are also conveniently located within a short walking distance to shops like REI and grocery stores. We are also less than five minutes walking distance from cafés, restaurants, and live music. We offer one private room and keep all of our dorm rooms at 4 beds to allow a more comfortable and spacious living area. Other amenities include: · Free Wifi and internet access on our computers · Laundry Room · Free Lockers · Bicycle Rentals · Free Luggage Storage · Organic garden · Kitchen Facilities - A spacious backyard for bicyclists and a wood-burning sauna to relax after a long hike. We love good conversations but we are not a party hostel, quiet hours begin at 10pm.
