A real creaky old farmhouse- warm, atmospheric, unpretentious. A sweet, down-to-earth couple, Franccoise et Philippe welcome company: their sons are away studying, and this is 'La France profonde'! The farm covers 150 hectares; walk for hours through pure air and inspiring landscapes- You need not see another soul. The house, destroyed in the french Revolution, was rebuilt by Napoleon's confessor. Within its solid walls are stripped floors and paneling.
