Palcall Tsumagoi Resort, the largest ski resort in the Kanto area is located in Tsumagoi village at the highest mountain peak of Mt Azumaya, situated 1500 m above sea level in Gunma Prefecture. It is close to the border with Nagano Prefecture, 3 hours from Tokyo, 50 mins from Karuizawa station.
