Timbercliffe Cottage Inn is a classic New England retreat by-the-sea with an expansive 80' veranda and grand common rooms - all with impressive Penobscot Bay views. Built in 1790 - 1860 the historic house is well appointed in traditional colonial style (published in Early American Life magazine ad!). The Inn is nestled on a private hillside above busy High Street affording serene and unique views. We are located in the Village District only a stroll to the heart of Camden and guests are treated, upon request, to our exclusive house car service. Our rooms and suites include private baths, luxury amenities with ocean or forest views. Relax in a claw foot tub or retire by a fireplace in one of our suites. Our 2nd floor balcony is ideal for enjoying the sun and a beverage while watching the schooners sailing on the bay. Wake up to a delicious multi-course breakfast served al fresco on the veranda, our stone terrace or in the main dining room. Our well stocked butler's pantry offers a variety of coffees, teas, seltzer water and snacks throughout the day. This lovely, historic inn is now open year 'round.
